Fizzball is a game described in one of the comics, I haven't tried the link, but maybe it has something to do with it.

Ah actually it kinda does, since Fizzball is blowing open tossed beer cans with an axe handle I believe. Similar enough.

It's called 'lets play fizzball'. And you can do it with coke cans, but I assure you, it's better played drunk using cheap evil smelling beer.
