FOC wont start...running XP
 

So i have both EAW and FOC, FOC version is 1.1. when i click on the FOC button on the launcher, or if i use the shortcut on my desktop, nothing at all happens. not even an error message. i dont see even a black screen or anything, it's as if i had never clicked on the button. I have searched the internet and have not found anyone else having quite the same problem as i. Anyone here know what is going on?

Windows XP Home SP2
AMD Athlon XP 2800+, ~2.1 GHz
1024 MB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce 6200 with 256 MB
DirectX 9.0c
