Using E-11 blaster in GMAX ??
Hey
Can anyone tell me how to extract the E-11 Blaster model from the assets, then use it on GMAX to make another model based on the E-11? I got some designs, starting from it... Thanks |
-The blaster should be in assets1.pk3, under models\weapons2
-To open a .pk3 use winzip or winrar -The model is either in .md3 or .glm format so you'll need software that can import .md3 or .glm. |
And I guess GMAX isn't able doing that... Blast. You know which software does ?

Here's some gmax import scripts:
http://www.davidhsmith.net/Essential_Tools.htm I imported the .glm in 3d Max 7 and exported it to .obj for you...grab it HERE |
Thanks a lot Psyko! This is going to help me a lot! :thmbup1:

Well, this is where I am until now. I just got one problem. The blue part, where the grip is, is plain, and I want it a little bit removed. Can anyone tell me how to do that ?

Just use the cut tool if you want to cut a rectangle into the grip.
How many triangles you got in total? looks kind of high poly for JA. |
Don't really know, but I don't really think it's that high either. These are just cilinders thrown into a "rifle" lol. But I think it'll be quite high, because now it ins't even close to the half of the rifle... But I hope for the best :)
And thanks for the advice! Again! |

What I have until now. I'm going to try it out like this first, to see if I can make it better. Then I'll add more details and after another test, I'll release the file if it works. Any suggestions? |
