What has happened to the Sith Edition?!

Information on this seems sketchy and contradictorary. The fella commenting here: http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B002SNBFFQ, reckons it got pulled. But when I check for DLC on the PSN, I still don't see the Sith stuff. I loved SWFU, but thought the 8 a time levels was just a bit expensive (I can easily afford it, I just didn't want to feel ripped off since I believe the levels are small and I wanted to vote with my feet as it were). I might be interested in paying for a package of all three addons but information about the Sith edition and/or whether it's coming to DLC or ever going to hit shelves seem hard to ascertain for sure. Anyone know what's going on?

Hmm... I guess no-one knows then!

"Pulled"? Sorry, but that I don't believe for a second. I tried to log into Amazon.com the other day and the site was actually DOWN (never saw that before in all the years I was using it). So anyway, I would imagine it is just something screwy with their site, check again and it will be back. Even if somehow in your country they "pulled" the game (why? a recall would be big news and we'd hear about it through the official channels) you could get it through international sellers pretty easily.

Even if somehow, magically Amazon "pulled" the game (why? direct order from LucasArts? Even then they might still carry it, as they do with other "discontinued by manufacturer" items, via the zshops and after-market), you could still get the game. Amazon isn't the only way to buy games online, after all...

In the US at least, in my home state, I was at Wal-Mart and another store just a couple days ago and they had lots of copies of the PC version at least (didn't check the console section for the PS3/Xbox360 versions).

TFU (vanilla edition) is still pretty easy to find as well. So I wouldn't panic just yet.

As for the downloadable content, all of it was supposedly going to be available to all participating versions for those who paid for it (and with the capability to download obviously), except for the Hoth level, which is a "Sith Edition" exclusive.

I don't own this game yet (don't own any of the newer consoles and my pc is way too underpowered), but my advice to you would be either a rental or else sell your old game and buy the newer edition cheap as you can. Most people seem to have blown through the "new content" pretty quickly and reviews indicate it's not much you haven't seen, gameplay-wise (just more of the same, with some new models).

I've had murder getting the Ultimate Sith Edition here in the UK too. Everywhere either says unavailable or out of stock for the PlayStation 3 version. I've seen a few Xbox 360 and PC versions floating around though.

I spent days searching for a copy on UK based sites and shops, but this afternoon I just gave up and found someone on eBay selling this game in America.

There are multiple copies available, so you should be able to pick a copy up here:

Good luck. :D

So there's some kind of shortage in the UK? Maybe the Queen bought up all the copies? Just kidding, my limey brothers and sisters... ;)

Possible, I suppose!

She must need something else to do when she's not with her dogs, I suppose! XD

It has just disappeared from the UK, currently on ebay there is 1 yes one PAL version of the game on xbox 360, non for any other format, there are plenty of NTSC copies through international sellers, but considering import tax it could get expensive
every shop, I've asked has said its out of stock, my local game station told me they are having stocking issues what ever that means. every UK site (GAME, Gamestation, Play, Amazon even gameplay) say it is out of stock

something is going on and its wrong how little information is going round

Hmm.. it's even more frustrating now that I've read that it's impossible to get all the trophies without it because some of them are in the extra levels - which seems a bit out of order.

The one I linked to above comes from the US and there is a free shipping option available, it'll just take a little longer to arrive. It's just the PlayStation 3 version this guy is selling, however.

Yeah thanks Marius, its certainly becoming a possibility, but considering the shops supposedly sold it for between £25-£30 ($40-50) and the imported ones are £34.97 ($57) before the obligatory 17.5% tax when it reaches customs then £8 surcharge by the postal service for "handling it" it will end up about £50 ($80) it is effectively doubling the cost, and i already paid for the Tatooine to download for £8 ($12)

I would really love to know why its disappeared from the UK, the constant response of "stocking issues" is obviously cos nobody has any idea why or they can't /don't want to tell us

of well I'll play through my current copy till I can

Agent Gibbs CTP 01-11-2010 09:56 AM

Well i found 2 copies today, went round all the major games retailers (game, Gamestation) and HMV in the city centre and the giant shopping centre on the edge of Leeds (which has 2 Game Stores and a HMV) and found not one single copy, one shop weren't even aware of its existance
then i went to the edge of Bradford to a retail park, checked the game stores, and the HMV
then Toys 'R Us and they had 2 copies for £24.89 each, so naturally i bought one
so if any UK members in the West Yorkshire area want to claim the last copy i could find in Leeds its at the Toys 'R' Us at WF17 9DT

that is awesome, lately I'm always getting stung by customs and then royal mail, although randomly the last thing I bought escaped tax shame the other 4 items didn't

I'm very happy too, i was slightly perplex that the trophies carry over from version to version but the save files don't, but i was on the death star as it is so finished the game as light side
