Deleting Groups

I was just wondering how to delete your own groups? I have one that is not going any where and would prefer to just delete it. I have already tried and I get a message saying I do not have authorization to do so.

You will have to ask a super moderator or administrator to delete it for you. Delete permissions are restricted to keep impulsive group creators from deleting groups that other group participants are still actively using. :)

Hey, can someone delete this group please? It's dead, and I don't want to deal with it anymorez. :thmbup1:

Have you considered transferring ownership of the group to another member?

Working Class Hero 04-13-2011 05:41 PM

It's dead..what difference would that make?

Astor 04-13-2011 05:45 PM

Well, it won't solve the problem of it being dead, but at least then you wouldn't have to deal with it. :)

Meh, I wouldn't want to punish someone like that. :xp:

It's up to you. You could leave it, but with the way LF's non-modding groups are going it's likely it will just waste bandwith...on the other hand, It's not like it's a personal hindrance to me if you just leave it. :)
