Wasteland 2
 

Well with the large surge in Kickstarter-funded-games we see InXile's Brian Fargo attempting to well, kickstart the Wasteland series back up. Wasteland is of course the precurser to the Fallout series and no, not Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas the games it is most similar to are Fallout and Fallout 2. I have never played more than a half hour of the first two Fallout games myself and will admit to being more of a fan of the latest two but I am excited to see where this project goes. What does everyone think? And was anyone here around for the original release of Wasteland?

Surprisingly in better shape than I'd expected and looks very playable right now. It was a bit awkward to watch a video with Keenan demonstrating a game features that would've been standard if this was 1999. :/

It looks very properly old-school, for better or for worse. It's a bit rough, which should be expected, I hope they polish up the graphics a bit. It looks like it'd make for some interesting co-op.

The graphics look fine. I'd far rather they devote their attention to ensuring the gameplay is as good as possible.

^Yeah, gameplay is more important than graphics IMHO. That's why people still play the first two Fallout games. Honestly, I would not want this game to have the same fate as Neverwinter Nights 2.. Poor sequel.
