What's Your Favorite Star Wars Game *PLEASE IGNORE PREVIOUS CREATED THREAD IT WAS A MISTAKE*

Knights of the Old Republic, obviously.

I honestly haven't played very many because I'm not a Star Wars junkie.

This is evidenced by the fact that I can name all the Star Wars games I've played:

Star Wars (Arcade)
Shadows of the Empire (N64)
Rogue Squadron (N64)
Episode I: Racer (N64 and Arcade)
Clone Wars (XBox)
Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast (PC demo)
Republic Commando (PC)
KotOR (PC)
KotOR II (PC)

Making me choose between the depth of Knights of the Old Republic and the mindless fun of Battlefront. That ought to be a crime. KotOR it is.

If you'd listed KotOR I and II separately, that would've been a bit of a quandary, but as a series, nope, no competition whatsoever.

You realize that most people will pick KotOR over the others, right?

Anyhow, I actually did make a top ten Star Wars game list a long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away...

Obvious on which will win

1. SW KotOR Series
2. Star Wars Battlefront Series
3. Star Wars Republic Commando
4. Star Wars Empire At War
5. Star Wars Episode III

My top 10, in no particular order:

Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace
Star Wars: Jedi Knight - Jedi Academy
Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic
Star Wars: The Force Unleashed
Star Wars: Rogue Squadron
Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire
Star Wars: Battlefront
Star Wars: Battlefront II
Star Wars: X-Wing Alliance
Star Wars: Starfighter

And I didn't vote in the poll. Sorry to say, but it's badly done.

KotOR series.

I listed as many Star Wars games/series as I could think of.

How/why is it badly done?

TSL series it is, though I have probably played Jedi Academy (my go to blow of steam game for some years) and Empire at War ten times as much.

1= KotOR
2= Jedi Knight
3= Star Wars Galaxies
4= Jedi Power battles
5= The Force Unleashed
6= KotOR II
7= Obi Wan
8= Battlefront
9= Lego Star Wars

.
.
.
.
10= The Old Republic

You do what you want, of course, but I'd have omitted a few in that list and wouldn't have thrown all games until 2000 in one option, considering the fact some of the most memorable Star Wars games happen to have been released in the eighties/nineties. TIE Fighter, Rogue Squadron, etc.

But I would pick KotOR II every time. :) Republic Commando being a close second.

You asked the question on a KotOR fan board. What did you expect, exactly?

How did the Obi Wan game even make it on a list like this? I thought we all agreed back in 05' that we were never going to mention that game again.

Maybe some discourse in a forum? Its not exactly a hot-bed atm, I welcome discussion in any form.

And why is the game so bad as you are implying? (I never played it).

I guess I liked Obi Wan, because it was my first console since the NES, and I was hyped on the prequel train at the time, I liked it a lot

Seriously though, why is it apparently so bad. I watched a couple of gameplays on YouTube and it doesn't seem THAT bad as you guys are implying.

P.S: I remember waiting for the Obi-Wan game and be very dissappointed when I heard they had cancelled the PC version.

I fluctuate between these as my favorites:

KOTOR series
JK series
X-Wing series

It's like picking a favorite child.

I think the ROTS game is underrated by the way.

It was actually a pretty good game, if they made it compatible on 360 I'd probably play through it again, but that's not gonna happen lol

That said, KOTOR series is definitely my fav, reason why we're all here really. Next would be Battlefront series, Jedi Knight games, and a lot of the others are great as well.
