Conrad watched the van as it began to move. He sprinted forward along the rooftop, hopping down to a lower level. He then jumped onto a shop awning, and he was now just a few feet above the van.
Conrad took a breath and leaped, landing lightly on top of the van, hopefully quietly enough that no one had noticed.
He crouched and grasped the edges of the van, moving into a prone position, just to make sure that he was secure for the trip....
...hopefully it wouldn't be a long one.
