She smiled, but then looked askance at Visas and her red-violet silk veil, which covered her eyes. "I beg a thousand pardons of you for asking such a rude question, but how can you see while wearing the veil over your face? Do you 'see' with your other senses, such as touch, hearing and smell?" Perdy thought asking are you blind? would be too insulting, and she did not wish to insult the former Jedi.
