Hi all. Maybe a bit of a late reply.
It you get a reply saying the software is not designed for the OS it is most likely because your version of Win 7 is 64 bit.
I stupidly overlooked this thread (duh) and have posted a workaround in the 'Having trouble getting TPM to work XP and Vista' thread.
Worked perfectly for me, hope it does for anyone else with the same problem
