For the Form Shien, could you perhaps invert the model? I did a little research and found that most people who use the form Shien wield lightsabers backhanded, such as Adi Galia, Ahsoka Tano, Starkiller...
I also found a mod on filefront that's a little old where the modder took all the short sabers and inverted them, so I know it's possible at least in theory.
