One Halloween I picked up some cheap costume accessories that were basically "saber sais" (three blades facing up, the two outer blades being shorter and a different color than the center one)... and yes, I did duct tape them together.
But my favorite idea is the gun that shoots lightsabers.
Over the top? Sure, but who cares, we're using our imaginations here...
