the pharma industry like Pfizer doesn't care about curing people. Just treating them. They start with a "miracle drug" that cures something, uses their marketing arm to make doctors prescribe it, and people ask their doctors for it. Then a few years later when it is found out the side effects of the drugs outweigh the benefit they have 3 more drugs lined up for you to try.
People in the United states like pills because they take a pill and don't have to change their life or do anything different. they don't want to think that THEY have a problem
