Yeah, from what I can judge by only seeing the trailer, it all looks at least similar to FT1. FT1 was released seven years ago too, so it's only natural for the style to change slightly.
Of course, for all I know, the rest of the game can look completely different, with bright blue backgrounds and curly clouds. Guess we just have to wait and see.
