We need a Corley Motors shirt...
...we've got Grim, DotT is coming out, (right?) and seriously, all I can think of right now is how cool it would be to have this logo looking weathered and awesome on a t-shirt.
I've checked Zazzle, Cafe Press, and no such luck. If there are any online stores that you can request designs, spread the word, because Corley Motors needs a shirt, especially since LucasArts is just sitting on the license and doing nothing with it. (But that is for another thread, another day...)

Nice work haggis. I'm tempted to order one..
however, did you notice that on the dark t-shirts the "Corley Motors" text is missing below the logo? Was that intentional, or a cafepress error?
btw - hi everyone! I'll introduce myself in one of the introductions threads in a bit here..

That was intentional, I thought for some reason that some of the shirts looked better without the letters. If you want though, I guess I could make it so that there are letters on the black shirts as well.
Also, welcome to the forums!

If it wouldn't be much trouble, I'd love a version with the letters. Can't wait to order one of these - I might also order a shirt with sanguineheart's logo too.
Thanks for the welcome!

They get all the money. You only take profit if you charge above the standard price for a shirt.

Just a heads up the graphic I supplied was not of my own creation.
I'd hate to see you get in trouble for taking the graphic.

Well, if anyone sends me a cease and desist letter, I'll be happy to close down the shop. After all, it's not like I'm making any money off it - I'm selling everything at the base price. Until then, shop your heart out!

We should get one with the pole cat logo on it too!
That would be awesome!

Haven't been here in a long time, but I found this. Instantly bought one, great design dude. I have been looking for the Corley Motors keychain for ages, and this is pretty close to satisfying my thirst!

It'd be awesome if LucasArts could provide, or even put on CafePress to avoid any kind of copyright infringement, but I doubt they'd actually go for it...despite the fact that it looks retro and retro is IN.
Maybe if it had STARWARS...

or...perhaps anyone still has theirs, and can scan the logos in at high-quality to be remade by the fans?
Can't really be copyright infringement if they're not being made anymore...

I really doubt that LucasArts is going to do anything with its old titles accept renew them to insure no one can revive them. They dropped the new Sam and Max game, and they dropped the next-gen Indy game. Whoever is making these decisions is reducing LucasArts to nothing but a legal entity concerned with copyrights of game IPs they'll never return to.
Someone, buy all of LucasArts' shares and get those retro shirts made, and maybe even bring back the old franchises!

Nice work.
I've updated some of the products with the Polecats logo (unfortunately, since it's a Basic Cafepress shop, I can only offer one image on each product): shoppy shoppy! Let me know if you prefer some other logo on something you want to buy, then I'll switch it around.

Haggis, can you provide the logo you used for the cafepress shop? it looks a little better than the one I scaled up from.
Thanks

I think I actually just found a Corley Motors logo on the internet somewhere, and then started fiddling with it to eventually get that weathered look. Stupidly, I didn't keep the original that I downloaded, but it wasn't that big to begin with. Come to think of it, it might have been the same image that CookieMonster4Sael posted in the first post here. Maybe he still has it. I'm sorry if I'm not much help...

Here you go. Let me know when/if I should change it to the Polecats logo, in case you want to order that as well.

I've also made a vector graphic of the Corley Motors logo. It's probably not 100% accurate, but I think it's pretty close. Here's a preview:
Here it is to download as an EPS file:
http://rapidshare.com/files/203382403/Corley.eps
If you would like to make a shirt, I would suggest something other than CafePress. Their shirts come out fuzzy looking. There are better alternatives on the web, just search around.

Brilliant!
Its much nicer than the one I did, and a lot more accurate
To be honest though I did mine with an automatic vector tracer and just tidied it up a little and added the text.
Thanks
Rob

Spiralout, your vector is indeed super fantastic. However, when I open in Photoshop the typography is jacked up because I do not have that font installed on my machine. What font did you use here? Looks very close...
I know of a local place here that'll do fairly cheap, though high-quality printing on shirts. They use American Apparel shirts, which are quite nice. The image is sort of baked into the fabric - not an iron-on or anything like that. Gonna check on costs.
Be nice to get that "can't beat a corley" bike + chick image on the back. I have a pretty decent image of that from an old ebay auction that can be seen here. Maybe someone here can do something to improve on it?

The image is going to be hard to reproduce, but here's the text for starters:

Any chance that you can scan that in at a higher resolution? It might be easier to trace out if it isn't blurry.

Welcome to the forums wookieebreath, spiralout and artfulgamer (and awesome avatar btw).
I think tracing that design is the best option. If someone had a tablet then it shouldn't be *that* difficult.

cheers Gabez - thanks for the welcome!
My wife is an artist and she'd definitely be able to trace it out with a slightly better scan.

I'd be more than happy to give tracing this a try myself. A better scan sure would be helpful, but I can give it a try without.

this is awesome. I'm totally blown away with how far this thread has come!
I picked up one with just the CM logo the other day, but hey, I'd definitely be up for that one of the chick and the bike if that gets successfully reproduced.
Keep up the great work(s) guys
