A Vampyre Story
Okay, so A Vampyre Story is to be released in two days. Now I could eat an octorock to get to play this game the day it's out but I can't find any local or nearby stores that will sell it, or has even heard of it. SURPRISE!!!!!!
I bet you guys are gonna play it the 31st though, so I was wondering if you'd be so kind to write in this thread what you thought of the game and maby even rIp iT AND UPLOAD A TORRENT SO I CAN PLAY IT TOO!!!
it's supposed to smell like a wallmart forcefield generating unit, but we could only do 16 different odors in EGA, so it smells a lot like the timepod!

No.
We have no idea what you're talking about. Torrenting is bad.

Actually, the game has been delayed until November 17, so that would explain why you haven't been able to find it in stores yet.
And TORRENTING IS VERY BAD!!! Bill Tiller has three children to care for, and if you pirate his game, you steal not only from him, but also from his children! Of course, pirating games is never good, but in this case, with Autumn Moon being a relatively small company, it's especially immoral.

I'm not saying that I wouldn't spend money on this game, I mean OFCOURSE I would and I obviously intended to since I've searched for this games release in swedish stores. It's just that I've got no place to buy it except if I get it shipped I guess.
have you got any tips for popular websites with good credibility that ship this game?

Like I said, the game is not out yet, it got pushed back and the release date is now November 17. I think that would explain why you aren't seeing it in stores yet - it's the same here in the Netherlands, where shops don't usually advertise relatively unknown adventure games very much.
If you're looking for a reliable online retailer to get it from, I'd recommend Amazon. But the game should come out with Sweden, since there is an official publisher for the Nordic countries.

maby I'm just at the wrong stores.
but if there's an official publisher for the Nordic countries there is hope!
thanks for the info!!! : )

Just wait 'till it's released and try again. If that still doesn't work, Amazon would be a good place to look... in fact you may want to look there first since it could turn out cheaper. Amazon's prices seem to vary but if you're lucky you can get a good deal. I got a Creative Zen (4GB), a 16GB SD Card and some Creative EP630 headphones (pretty much the best value headphones you can get according to a lot of sources.. they were under £5 and they're better than headphones I've spent £20 on) for just over £90 (about 1100 kronor). I'm sure if you look hard enough you'll be able to find it somewhere.

so the games out! I'm guessing you guys play it, so what do you think about it?
I think once you get used to monas' voice and the soundquality it's a pretty decent game! there's a lot of unchecked bugs and glitches though.

Fealiks is never serious. He's sort of like a self-recriminating disease.
"Wow, doesn't it suck that you have me?"
Yes, Fealiks, it does.

gosh. you guys know eachother pretty well huh? : )
I can see that most of the ones who are active here (well everyone except me and another guy?) have been here for a really long time!
how long has it been since this place stopped flourishing?
I mean I know the scummbar and the other populare MI-sites back from when I was a kid, 10 years ago. but back then I had no idea of what a forum was.
I guess I missed out on a lot of fun things that happened in here right : )

Have you ever been reported to the FBI as a suspected bearer of child porn? You have now.
Nah, just kidding. But, robearth, you actually haven't missed out on a lot. Over the past four or so years I've made nearly as many posts as I've made in other forums in about a month. I joined this forum when I was a youngling with little comprehension of a forum, so I understand how you felt before. Just imagine that but with a few more years of confused conversation and a vague sense of friendship with the others tacked on to it. And we're really only as much a community now as a dozen people who get the same train on a saturday are a community. We used to be as much a community as a very large family in a very large house, passing each other from time to time, engaging in idle chit chat every now and then, but now we've gone down a notch. It's kind of like a weekly family reunion here.

1,631 posts in four years? that's not a lot.
I've made over two thousand in two years on another forum.

I'm actually sixth of the top posters there I have an avarage of about 3 posts a day.

Though, like Fealiks said, it's not that dificult on an active forum, though now that I think of it, over 1500 posts on a semi-dead forum isn't that bad.

It's not the size of your ePeen that counts, it's what you do with it. And I shoot spam all over everyone with mine. Mmmmm.
