opening files
hello guys i play jk2 mmo and im trying to open a map file that i dowloaded off the internet and i want to open it for free pls help

What do you mean 'open the files?'
You can use any program that opens .zip files. A .pk3 is just a renamed .zip.

If you mean 'reverse engineer a map then I don't know how.

I just download the mod, Then extract it using Windows file open option, It does everything for you!!
