Smilies aren't really the issue as i've noticed. Sure they brighten up what you say about 1% but what really needs to be looked at are spammers. The last couple of months they've been about 4 of those annoying little runts running around here... *shrugs* dunno what can be done... just wanted to say something...

I agree... there are some people who are being significantly infectios spammers. Such as X-wing. I looked over his posts... most are less than 20 words. Except for his flame posts. Explain yourself, X-wing.

as far as word count I don't think it matters in the least...sometimes a smile is a appropriate answer and is all thats neccessary. GUNNERS post in this thread was less than 20 words and I'm betting you wouldn't dare accuse him of spamming.
