Seriously. I'd choose playing this game over rollin' in the sheets with Playboy pinup girls. In a heartbeat. For the brief 45 minutes I've played the game so far, I felt totally immersed in the world of the 1960's... I've never played a game that made you feel "there" as much as this one does. Even BF1942 doesn't come this close. Crawling through the underbrush with AK fire whistling over your head, hiding behind a tree waiting for the F-4 to napalm the sh*t out of the guys on the top of that f**king hill you're climbing, and my fave part, the ability to blast "Ride of the Valkyries" from your Huey to all the players within earshot, as you rain down fire and brimstone (or at least rockets and minigun fire) on a pack of unsupecting gooks in a flatbed truck.

There's only one word to describe the hot sex that is BF:V - Sploogefest.

The graphics need a lot of work, and there are still tons of bugs in the game. Like how I crashed my Huey into the ground and the rotors got stuck in it and just stopped dead. And the AI sucks butt.

But the sound and overall atmosphere is nice. With a lot of work, this could be pretty damn good.

I agree it needs patching and after that, it'll be awesome!

But nothing beats the good old WWII feeling...but that's just me...

It's designed for multiplayer-only... If I wanted single-player action, I'd play Medal of Honor.

I said the exact same thing when BF1942 came out, and look at it now... It's pretty damned good.

Bleh, I'm probably not gonna get it.... at least not until I big fat wad of 20s fall in my lap. I got others games I'm waiting for... there's BFME, Battlefront... and some others on my list... be nice if there was a demo for it
