are those titanium rings? i was interested in them because of the cost factor, and i read that they don't scratch as much, but a jeweler who even sold them said they do scratch pretty easily, almost worse than platinum, so i decided on the white gold.

Actually, Ike, those rings are plain old hemmatite. (Black stone.) They aren't our real rings; the real ones weren't reasy on time for the ceremony, so we bought some cool stand-in ones at the museum. I won't get my nice gold one till Wednesday. =(
White gold is cool too! What's it look like? Plain? Any pattern? I'm so excited about my new LJ friends; now maybe someone will comment on my posts! ^_^

our rings are 5-6mm with thin shiny bands on the outside and the middle is matted/brushed. It's a common style.
