Where do I get the Mods?

I heard that there are mods to the X-wing series games. Which games? Where do I go to get them? How do they work? What type of modifications are there? Are they difficult to install? Etc. Thank you.

All of the games in the X-Wing series can be modded to a certain extent. There are custom missions and upgraded or even original custom ships available for all of them, if you know where to look. And to give you a heads up, I'm hearing there will be a list of the major sites with mods for the X-Wing series published by theforce.net soon, so you might want to keep checking their games section.
