Once I get the posts how do I get a tittle??? Some say u can get it at like 550 can a mod clear this up for me or an admin whoever has time???

I've not heard anything about it being lowered to 550 posts, but to change your title press the User CP (Control Panel) button above, go into the Edit Profile section and halfway down you'll find the Custom User Text, which you can set your new title.

as I said in another thread, if things weren't chnaged, it is 1000 posts for a custom title.

It can actually be changed in the 500-600 period. Once you hit 601 you cant change it.

From what I know, it can be changed (or at least it was possible a few months ago) at 500 posts but only before you reach 550 or 600 (perhaps a bug?). However those who have changed their title at this stage, cannot remove it or change it again before they reach 1000 posts.

In any event, the possibility to change a custom title at 500 or 1000 posts should not be a reason to spam the boards in order to achieve this post count earlier.

Custom titles are activated at 1000 points. It was inexplicably changed to 500 a month or two ago, and some people took advantage of to change there titles. It has since been changed back.

I have over 4,000 posts and I'm still at "Bantha Fodder". Make sure you don't spam or they might set your level higher.
