So ... what'd I miss?
it's sad, but due to the financial black hole i'm currently residing in, i have no internet access anymore.
fortunately i've just discovered a portion of the uni that's open over the summer holidays and can now get on the internet for free again!
w00t(in an ironic sense)
so ... what did i miss while i was away?
You mean the way the sea stays steady as a rock and the buildings keep washing up and down? Yes I thought that was odd.

As far as I'm concerned, you didn't miss anything of much interest. We haven't had any deep psychological conversations or anything.
Welcome back both of you, and I hope Tall Guy sticks around long enough for me to fall on my knees in front of him so that I can declare my utter respect.
spoiler:To be completely honest, I at the moment can't remember what Tall guy did, but his name rings a bell and that bell says that he's damn important to GFN

Yeah. Tall Guy's an original. He was a moderater even back in the YaBB days.
But nahh...no deep conversations. Necroman hasn't been around to spontaneously shout something contraversial and semi-offensive, so we haven't been getting into any cool debates.
There is a lot of pointless stuff though....
There's no earthly way of knowing which direction we are going. There's no knowing where we're rowing or which way the river's flowing. Is it raining? Is it snowing? Is a hurricane a-blowing? Not a speck of light is showing, so the danger must be growing. Are the fires of hell a-glowing? Is the grisly reaper mowing? Yes, the danger must be growing 'cause the rowers keep on rowing, and they're certainly not showing any signs that they are slowing. AAAGGHHH!!!

Weeell I used to be one of the GFN webmasters and ran a few GF fan sites over the years, as well as the forums.
Eventually, Uni came calling and I was out of the loop for a while but hopefully, I'm back for good now ...providing my internet connection stays active! Which is another reason for my long absence :S
BTW, It's great to see so many new faces here, there was a time when the GF forum was a very dark and lonely place! Heh welcome one and all
