Bot Routing Tutorial
I have not ever found a really good bot routing tutorial online. But, after reading stock explanations, I seem to be making pretty decent bot routes myself, so I wrote my own tutorial just from my own experience. The tutorial can be reached through my main site, my Outcast site, or just by following this link:
http://wso.williams.edu/~jshoer/botroute.htm
I'm also posting this link amongst the skicky resource threads.

I'd appreciate it if experienced people could let me know if they think this is helpful or not, just to sooth my little ego

I'm glad you made this, Wedge. Really informative and it didn't lose me like the other tutorials did. Maybe somebody should sticky this all by itself.

Cool idea, we can always use good bot routing in maps!
The DDS (Darth Dude Studios) website (creators of Ibots and DDS Rerouted among other things) has posted a tutorial as well.
I'll sticky this since it is an important issue that won't go away.
I should get into some routing myself!

Hey Guys,
I am new and I am sorry to post here at this old threat, but I have a problem with the first link from wedge2211...
I want to replace a bot in my JA map, who should zoom with a disruptor on something an then shoot.
Is that possible ? If yes, could you post a link for a tutorial, which works, please ? Thanks. And sorry again for posting here -.-
(also sorry for bad english, correct me please- I am form germany and life at the time in Seattle for an exchange -.-)
