Fan comic problem

Hi I'm trying to make a fan comic about the past of some of the characters of
psychonauts.
but I'm having a few problems first of all I would love to share it with all of you when I'm done but don't know how maybe someone knows what I can do?

now this other problem is kind of sad and I don't know if I should do it or not.

should I kill off raz's mother in a flach back story?

It would work with the whole "entire family die in water" curse thing.
