How do you deploy recon droid?

Hi folks,

I've looked at all the Gamefaqs posts, but nobody says how to deploy the little recon droid for snipers.

I play the PC version, and can't get it to work.

is there a button for it?

Just switch your secondary weapon, I believe the default button for PC is G, to switch your grenades for the recon droid.

Then just press the "secondary fire" button and you deploy the droid, be sure your well hidden though, while controlling the droid your an easy target for enemies.

The recon droid can call an arieal strike. When using it, right click again. It will start beeping and soon a bunch of lasers will come out of the sky and hit about the location of the droid.

I believe it is Secondary fire (L1) while controlling the droid.

i deployed it, and i keep noticing some countdown thingy all the time, what is that?

I droid blows up after a while. You can't use it forever.

well, more specificly, it runs out of energy.

ot also decreases if you get shot. but if you get shot, it usually blows up anyways.

When you switch to "recon" mode, you have a health bar like your unit. But this drains with time. So if you don't think you'll make your target before it runs out, find a closer target. But don't randomly oribital strike, this is an easy way to get a lot of TKs. At the least, just find an enemy unit and blast it in the head until you kill it, or it destroys the droid.
