Blast! I deleted my previous thread by accident. My question is do you think this: UR is the same as the Unknown Regions mentioned in KOTOR 2. If this has been discussed post a link.

They do indeed refer to the same thing. The Unknown Regions is the outermost section of the galaxy beyond the Outer Rim. However, what they encompase is likely different in the KOTOR era and the Rebellion era. Some of what was considered to be a part of the Unknown Regions in the KOTOR era had probably been explored and to some extent colonized by the time of the rebellion, and became part of the Outer Rim.
Well, they did have 4000 years to explore that part of the galaxy
So in other words Revan exploring the Unknown Regions is somewhat similar to the Europeans voyages that discovered North and Central America during the Renaissance.
Of course their reasons differ. Revan is not going to colonize plants in the name of the Republic.
