Subscribing
Sorry if this has been asked before, I'm sure it has been, but what is the point in subscribing to threads?

If you want to follow a thread in particular, you are notified whenever there are new posts in that thread.

hehe, Well, it would depend on how many threads you subscribe to.
Also, you can turn on/off the notification for each thread.

An often overlooked aspect of the thread subscription feature is that you can set it to not email you in your User CP, and instead to just automatically subscribe to every thread you post in. Then, if you go to your User CP you'll get a list of any threads with new posts in since you last visited LucasForums.

Yeah, and just for clarification, it won't notify you of every single post made in that thread, only a new one since you last visited said thread.
Personally I find it pretty handy if I want to know if anyones replied to a message of mine or a thread I've participated in, but I guess it's down to personal preference.
