Conflict In Space

I downloaded conflict in space a couple of days ago and am experiencing some problems. I click on the conflict in space icon it brings up the black screen, but then when i start the game nothing new is in the game. I installed it to my knowledge perfectly.

Any suggestions would be nice Thank you.
