general maintenance?

say what now? The LF URL was directing me to Star Wars Galaxies, Lucasarts' forum link led me to a weird purple+black version of the site...what kind of general maintainence was that?

Can somebody give me a heads up on exactly what happened?

There were some server issues yesterday that matt-- fixed up, but I haven't heard any specifics. We're back up now, however.

The server message said it all. We were down for mainentance for a while and it took a little time for the DNS to resolve itself, which is probably why you got kicked over to Galaxies.

All is well now, though.

The flux capacitor was broken. Doc Brown wasn't around and we couldn't get up to 88 mph. matt-- said, "I need fuel," and tossed some banana peels into Mr. Fusion. I remember seeing a blinding light and then the forums came back online.
