Suggestion- New Rule
I propose a new rule on this site, that I have seen implemented on another site which helped Administrators and Moderators a lot. Specifically, It's a rule that if followed by most members, will make it easier for Mods and Admins to clean up messes that crazy people sometimes make on forums. The reason this is a good rule idea to implement is this: EX: A person with no life or self control joins the site. The person makes a bunch of spammy posts, possibly very, very, bad offensive posts, including pictures of a wide variety of things I will not mention, or cussing and flaming/spamming/trolling/necroing in the worst manner. Members often react to this very angrily, returning the favor. After the crazy person is banned, the Mods and Admins often have to clean up a huge mess of posts, which greatly annoys them. So here's the rule, created by an administrator from another site I have been on:
When you see somebody breaking the rules in a very major way, just continue on how you were. Do NOT respond to them, do NOT acknowledge their existence in any way. Just inform a moderator or admin.
Please feed the trolls. XD

It might not be specifically listed in the rules but that is how we expect members to react to a spammer, by ignoring them and using the report post feature.

If it is, then there's no problem. I've read the rules, but It's likely that I woudl forget if there was aleady a rule like this here. However, I can't check since I don't know where the list of forum rules is.

The rules (or lack thereof) differs between the different sections of the forums. there is no uniform set of rules for all of Lucasforums other than the agreement you have to agree to when you register. Look in the forum sections you visit and you should find their rules, if there are any.
A " Do not break the rules when you see someone else break the rules" rule seems a bit redundant, in my opinion.

This is a wonderful rule that covers all the loopholes.

That's the golden universal rule.
Think.
“This body is not me. I am not caught in this body.
I am life without limit.”

I've seen this before, where people react badly to someone being a jerkoff. I guess the basic rule of thumb is don't, forum paths are paved with members who had lost the plot this way.

Even without this "new rule," I have to say that LF is one of the cleanest and spam-free forums I've ever been a part of, and I am proud to be part of the community because of that.
