Hey Everyone!
I'm right now getting ready to back up my hard drive so there will be no pics this weekend.
Thankteamgizka, on the topic of Bao-dur; He will make an appearance in the game. You will bump into him on Corellia.
In the game Kelborn will only be able to wear mandalorian armor.
I'm looking for any mandalorian fans out there that can re-skin.
My task for you who are interested, is to create some cool mandalorian armor for Kelborn to wear during the game, PM me.

Well, I made five eyes, but I only liked how these three turned out. I made some screenshots from far away, close up, and close up side shot. From left to right:
Circuit Board eye; Red Glass eye with black pupil; & Black Glass eye with Red Glow.

After everyone has had a chance to look at them and let me know what they think, I'll add an Alpha channel effect. Probably baremetal on the gold lines of the circuit board. As for the glass ones, I'll have to do tests to see which is the best for them. CM_Baremetal might be too shiny, but I'll try CM_Specmap and CM_Bright. Are there any other envmaps that I can use?
So, which one do you think is the best looking?

Personally I think the far right one in the photos looks best. The far left one looks a little more organic, but the right one just seems to have more depth like an eye should IMHO. They all look great though, nice job.

Redrob41, you are a very talented skinner, and I am a big fan of your work. The one to the far right is the best, as far as I see it. The eye just looks awesome in that one, kind of a Duros Terminator, which is freaking awesome  .

New screenshot are very good ;-). I like "lesson about Revan and Exile". That is something like in firs dialog with Atton, when you speaking "Revan was...", right? But this is better done than conversation with Atton 
And one thing, I hope you going to retexture this guy on last screenshot. He looking like Vrook and that looks strange... Anyway good work!

I have some little experience with modding, but I have a lot of experience with concept art, and storyline- due the fact that I have made some storylines for several GTA total conversion mods. I have loads of imagination, a lot of free time in this summer and I also have large amounts of knowledge about the Star Wars universe.
I am an excellent researcher, and I am a passionate fan of both KotORs.
I have played a lot of Star Wars games of different type. I can be very very helpful in the militaristic aspect of the game, and I have social skills that allow me to compose elaborate dialogs.

Corellia is somehow similar to Coruscant,- only that it has a more rural aspect, and the building have a more Taris aspect- and the color of the building are similar to the color of Ahto City- Manaan- so if you could add a little more blue to the buildings, and then you could light the color up, the reskinned Onderon could look exactly like Corellia.
Ow, and I must tell you, that in Corellia there are "Jedi Credits" which are more valuable and you can buy with them things otherways you can't. And Corellia is in trading partnership with the wookies on Kashyyyk.
Well, just some minor details that could be a nice add-up for the mod...

This looks absolutely awesome. Props to all of you for your excellent work. My only critique would be that nearly every line of dialogue has a grammatical error. That's not really a big deal, though, in the grand scheme of things.
Great work. Can't wait to see this come together.

Hey Everyone,
The latest thing i have been doing is working on some of the Cut scenes where the Raptor flies to a planet.
Here is a quick test demo i did where the Raptor flys to MalachorV.
Now you will remember that MalachorV was either broken into small pieces or left in one piece. This all depends on the ending in kotor2.
This video is 80 percent done
The final will be cleaned up and have the green lighting storms in space and debris floating around as you fly to MalachorV, enjoy.

Da_Man_2423, the reason there is a hanger on MalachorV will be explained in the story.
Remember its been eight years since kotor2. The question is if there is a hanger, who or what else is there? What secrets could MalachorV still be holding onto?

2. do you chose the skin for your lightsaber.
3. Which game is the mod for?
And, an idea for the voices of revan and exile if you find them. revan should be wearing his mask and have a robotic voice. and the exile should be voiced normally. and the Hk-50s should return. just some ideas.

1. I think the genders of Revan and the Exile should stay canonized...saves a lot of time when doing other stuff like dialogue.
2. No comment really. The lightsaber still does the same thing regardless of its skin, and this game isn't a graphics revolution to be showing off stuff.
3. This is for TSL, says so in the thread title.
Voices for Revan and the Exile should be dealt with cautiously...I highly doubt everyone would be pleased with whatever Logan and his crew may come up with. Everyone would have the same opinion if there weren't any voices for those characters at all. Nobody's happy, but nobody's pissed either.

Hey everyone,
Da_man_2423, I can’t say too much about MalachorV since it will let out some spoilers.
I can say…….on MalachorV you will pickup the party member Cain Thrall.
I’m using Sony Vegas mainly to edit and create the new movies.
You will be able to choose Revan’s and Exile’s gender and alignment. I want everyone who plays the Mod to feel like that they are continuing their adventure in the Kotor universe.
You will start off with a light saber since you are a padawan but you will end up losing the light saber early on in the game’s story. I do want to let it be known you will not be spending hours trying to rebuild a light saber which was a controversial issue with kotor2. I’m working out a new system to build light sabers which will be focus around the idea of personalizing it in appearance and ability. I will tell you more in a future post.
The Voices of Revan and Exile……These two voices will no doubt be the most important VOs in the whole game. Da_Man_2423 is right….no matter how I do it, there will be those who will not like it, even if it was done by a game company..still people would find issues with it. I do have some ideas on how to handle the characters…..I won’t say until I do some tests with VO’s before I release this information.
Jedi_man, Its funny you mention about the HK-50s, I was just talking to a member of my team and we were throwing around some ideas.
Yes, there will be the return of HK-50s with new skins. Also you will find out what happen to them since kotor2’s ending.

Wow, that looks nice!
The only suggestion I can offer to you about that, is to make the change from the Ebon Hawk flying to the planet and then the actual planet landing less abrupt.
How you'd go about doing that? I have no clue.
Anyway, looks really nice.
Oh, and is the 'Rhen Var' landing sequence from TSL at all, I can't say I remember it.

The planet doesn't look enough like Rhen Var from the outside, I'd suggest maybe using Nar Shadaa?

I'd suggest doing a diagonal wipe, it feels a bit better and makes it have that "movie serial" feel.

As for using Nar Shadaa for Rhen Var... no, I can't say that would work well, since Nar Shadaa doesn't look enought like Rhen Var to be used...
