Luke Skywalker as Sith

Hi. I was curious if anyone knew or knows if Luke Skywalker recieved a 'Darth' title from Palpatine during his time as a dark side apprentice. If not why?

Just wondering.

I don't think so. unless he took Vader. Who ever has a copy of Dark Empire II could find out. Mine's in storage

I believe Luke wasn't really a Sith under the clone Palpatine, just a dark jedi.

Well, he is on his way, however he is far from ready when it comes to Sith title.

THe whole reason was that when Luke confronted the Cloned Emperor he realized there was no chance in defeating him. SO he became an apprentice, and leader of the combine imperial forces. But they both knew it wouldn't last long since Luke used this time to subvert the powers of he Emperor. The Emperor figured it was a good trade off to end the power of the Jedi.

For a chance to defeat the Emperor. And I don't think he pretended, he succumed to the dark side hoping he could eventually be redeemed like his father after defeating the Emperor. He used dark side powers of subversion and manipulation even on Liea. To use an analogy he became a traitor to the New Republic, in order to finally defeat the EMpire from the inside.

I think Darth Whiny would have been a good title

I believe that Luke was a Dark Jedi serving Palpating ... not a full sith. The Supreme Commander of the imperial forces.
