Question: Is there a way to change how Revan's gender and alignment are, so that you can see the scenes with Carth and Bastila? If so, how? What do I specifically have to do?

The simplest way is to just switch your gender using th eKSE before the conversation starts. There is also a way that requires scripting and/or diologue modifying, neither of which I am capale of explaining.
