Since I'm not all that familiar with the EU, I was wondering if there were any particular alien races you like that don't appear in the movies. Which ones are your favorites?

Whiphids do make an appearance in the films - it's a blink-and-you'll-miss-it moment, but they are in there.

Iridorians are the same thing as Iridonians;the people at Lucasfilm said that "the KOTOR video game that was in error" and it was in fact Iridonian. Also, Iridonians do appear in the films.
