Question:
Taking all Star Wars games that are based on moments in the Star Wars movies (excluding all Expanded Universe games that don't occur during one of the SW movies) which was your favorite incarnation?
For example we've got the good ol' Battle of Hoth. But which flavor of it do you prefer? There's:
- Empire Strikes Back for NES
- Empire Strikes Back Arcade game
- Super Empire Strikes Back for SNES
- Shadows of the Empire for N64 (first level was Battle of Hoth)
- Battlefront 1 & 2
- Rogue Squadron 3 (I never played the others, so I don't know if they have it)
- Star Wars Trilogy Arcade game
- Lego Star Wars II
- and probably a dozen others I can't think of at the moment
If I had to pick on the various incarnations of BOH I'd probably go with Battlefront or Shadows of the Empire. SOTE had pretty poor graphics but the gameplay was awesome.
I'm interested in hearing other peoples' SW movie gaming experiences.
