^ Hmm, I like it. :] However, if a new RC were to be made, it'd most likely be 'Imperial Commando'.

That black "underwear" is called body amour/ or a body suit.

And the idea about you choosing the name and appearance of your clone doesn't sit to well with me. Don't get me wrong, I do believe it to be a good idea, however, it doesn't fit with the story line. Most people who played and enjoyed Republic Commando don't want to play a made of EU game. They want a continued story line with some of the secrets left in the first game answered.

That would make a good mod though.

The customization idea would actually be better for the multiplayer of this game.

I played, beat, and loved Republic Commando. I've also read the books, which I thought were amazing.
As much as I would like it, I don't think we'll ever learn what happened to Sev.

The thing with video games is that most people expect a direct sequel.
It would be cool to have a sequel, but I'd like it more if they made a whole new storyline with all new characters.
The new RC could possibly reference and display other known RC characters, but a whole new story would be better for the series- new players would not be forced to learn what happened in the first game and books.

IMO, the next RC game should be played as a Republic Commando (65%) and an Imperial Commando (35%) as time goes on.

p.s. What's an "EU Game"?

Extended Universe is EU I believe, I may be wrong though... However, in response to Dimal's post. Customization is already available for the original RC Game. However, there wasn't a whole lot you could customize. Imho, the best customization process was Halo 2/3's I loved the way you could choose two colors for armor, symbols, different types of armor, etc.

This game isn't an RC sequel. It's about Arc troopers.

Honestly Dimal, not saying your idea is bad, I know I myself would and probably a lot of others would rather see another RC game than a game based off ARC troopers. Although I'd much rather have both of the games.

crd22, you have a valid point. That is what brought about bringing Omega into the new game.

And EU stands for "Expanded Universe." Which I don't get into much, I have no clue where to start.

There's a lot of clone commando stuff already and it gets boring after awhile. There's barely any stuff on ARC troopers. I want to have the spotlight on them for this game. Besides, Arcs are better and cooler than commandos.

Well a majority of the time ARCs aren't doing anything besides advising officers, and coordinating missions and what not.

Well there haven't been any SW video games focused on ARC troopers and this game does just that.

This is true, and I can see why that would excite you and others. It would be nice to see a ARC game for a change but I say RC2 or IC first!.

The more time that passes the less of a chance there is of there being an RC2. Lucasarts had the opportunity to do something great with RC and maybe even make a great video game series out of it, maybe even make it better than Halo but they destroyed that chance. Now RC is dead and now the Jedi have stolen all the action and spotlight of Star Wars. The era of the clones is no more, we are the remnants.

i think they should create a padawan game where u can create and choose your alien race. u develop ur skills and find your saber crystal. then when u to to a jedi mentor then thats when u develop ur powers your saber moves and u travel around galaxy to either become good or evil. then u could choose to do good or bad. or become a jedi master. like u could be a ewok jedi or a wookie for jedi and u do quest and training and u take on the sith lords. what do you guys think about it.
