Multiplayer Stats Won't Save

It seems that my multiplayer stats won't save. I usually get in a few battles and the stats seem to register just fine. When I turn off the game and return later on, however, it seems that I'm back at level 0 as if I had never even touched multiplayer. Very frustrating.

I've tried to work around this but nothing seems to work as far as I know. Maybe it has something to do with my connection?
Has anyone had this kind of problem before, and more importantly, has anyone actually solved this?

I have the PS3 version, by the way.
