Everyone seems to want to do something on the weekend of January 23-24. I have already had to say no twice to people, likely to be more and have to lower my original expectations.
That saturday evening there is a "Lounge" themed Martini Mixer at my curling club. I invited my Lady to it, and she wants to do it. I just got a call today that my Brother and his family are going to be visiting. I was going to have a B-day party sunday, but that might be a no-go with all the other stuff happening.
lady said she is bringing something special again to wear for "later"

the garage i took it to got it fixed for me. $60, so it wsn't too bad...overall i spent about $150 on my car over the past few days. I think it runs better now, i don't have to push my foot through the floor to get moving...hopefully it saves me alot on gas. service engine soon light is still on, but not flashing. hm.
getting some oatmeal for a quick breakfast and heading to the gym. then i got work 10-6.
played quite a bit of mass effect yesterday. So far it's pretty good, I absolutely love the combat system.
Watched the movie '9' last night. made no sense at all. tim burton is weird.

the flashing CEL generally means misfire, which seems right with the condition of the spark plugs....

Lucky you.
(Though: if I had to choose between feeling OK at work or being sick at home, I think I'd have go with work...)
I saw '9' in the theater. I thought it was pretty good... though the end was bizarre.

You know you're in for some bad times when you wake up at 6AM just to take 3 ibuprofen, then immediatly go back to sleep.
No lie, I woke up, grabbed a Mt. Dew, cracked it, walked OVER TO MY DESK, opened the stupid child saftey lid, popped 3 of these guys and went back to sleep.
It was this wierd dream state instinctual need **** that was realy goddamned wierd.
Anyway, wish I had health insurance.

That was the case with me just a day, even a night before we had a planned trip to NY city. I was sweating and coughing all the way. One moment my wife even asked if we need to call emergency. Next morning with every possible clothes on me I got to the bus, but thanks... I was almost alright once in NY

Meh, I wish I could go back to ten years ago. But don't we all...
Well, not really. College sucked. Maybe like...seven years ago. But I've done pretty well since then. Except for not doing anything of significance. Eh, screw it.
No, wait, I want to go back to twenty years ago. Yes. That.

By the way, exam is tomorrow. Please wish me good luck

Life before Kindergarten was pretty sweet.
I'd go back to about 4-and-a-half.
After that,.. it was pretty much all downhill.

I would say yes lets go back 10, but I would probably still F up my first shot at college.
If I could retain knowledge from now that I have learned via trial and error, I would like to go back 15 to before HS and try it all again. See how I stack up knowing how stupid alot of crap I cared about was
