Phreak... where do you live? I'm so gonna rob you. I want that TIE Interceptor and that X-Wing. Hand 'em over!

Battle is a pure form of expression. It is heart and discipline, reduced to movement and motion. In battle, the words are swept away, giving way to actions-- mercy, sacrifice, anger, fear. These are pure moments of expression.
I really shouldn't post this, but I think it's been established that I'm a huge Star Wars nerd.

I really need to dust, but I keep procrastinating.
Now I don't feel like the only freak for having things like these. <3
Heheheh. I have me a couple of those millenium falcon micro machines and that Vader Tie fighter. An AT-AT, and Luke's X-wing. And several other playsets with minifigures. Jabba's palace with the sarlacc pit, Endor, Yavin 4 echo base, and Palpatine's chamber.
Love me, I win.
Hate me, I win.
Ignore me, I've got exactly what I wanted.
Love me or hate me, you're still thinking of me either way.

Micro Machines? I've got a crapload stuffed in a large ziplock bag somewhere. I even have Star Trek Micro Machines. There were plenty of Star Wars vs Star Trek battles when I was younger.
Finally finished my concert-jacket. It's been a work in progress for around 2 years and I finally got around to sewing on the last patches. I might try to cram on some more later, but at least I consider it a completed work now! Next project is a denim vest I've just started on.

I don't expect many people here to recognize any of the bands, but I put enough time, money, and effort into it that I thought I'd share. It should also get me a bunch of free beer and new acquaintances when I go to Hellfest in two weeks:
Pondering the mystery of rainbows, UFOs, and ****ing magnets.

My very favorite thing about Fords is their inability to complete a turn in less than a quarter mile radius. Thanks, Ford, for helping us all be comfortable making a 4 part turn.

Yeah, I don't change my own oil, so it's just the lack of turning and the gas guzzling that bummed me since I always pulled a stock trailer with mine.
Good thing: I made a HUGE Texas Sheet Cake today and it's friggin' gorgeous!!
im the manager of a tire lube express, so i get to do plenty of that

Picked up Just Cause 2 the other day. Blowie up woo
As well as Sleep is Death, which I will play with Darathy as soon as he responds to me in some manner vaguely recognizable as communication. CURSE YOU DARATHY. Totally psyched about it though. If anyone else has, or even somewhat wants to play... message me.
Cousin weddingness on Sunday, which is a relative good. Good, insofar as I like seeing people happy; bad, insofar as I had to give up going out on the town tonight with my buddies who tempted me with many temptations (I will not list these). However, part of these things is my that my friend is now permanently back from university, which is a good thing. Even so, his heckling is offensive. So it is probably just a 70% good thing until I crush his larynx.
Also got even more Transmetropolian collections. Only missing #8 now... its time will come.
Last good thing... getting to pick my scheduled hours now that I am a supervisor. SWEET DEAL. It is unpossible to marginalize this, having previously worked until ~2-11pm. 7-3 here I come, baby.

Nice to see Psylocke finally put some old demons to rest.
Got this for only £10, and I've been having sooo much fun with it with the kids. (easy cheevos too)
I lost this book among with many others when I broke up with an ex-boyfriend, and I've always meant to buy it again as it's one of my all time favourite books. Utterly brilliant writing and such great humour. Highly recommended to all.
I've become a HUGE Silversun Pickups fan since first playing Lazy Eye on Rock Band. I <3 this album. I've worn out my guitar playing Panic Switch and It's Nice To Know You Work Alone.
I f***ing love that cd. So much. The Royal We is one of the greatest songs ever.
EDIT: In other news, my cousin called me today and said that he found his old drumset in storage and didn't have room for it at his new house so he gave em to me
All basic, non name brand (as far as I can tell) equipment. Hi-Hat, Snare, Hi Tom, Low Tom, Bass, and ride cymbal, along with all equipment for it and a drum throne too. My neighbors aren't going to like us much longer oh well.
*I'm not sure if I will bother with SG:U yet. Is it any good?
SG:U is so much better than SG:A I cannot even describe. It had a bit of an uneven start, but at _least_ watch the entire first season. I freaking love this series.
SGU is the Stargate equivalent of Caprica. I've watched the season, but only really interesting character is Dr. Rush. Most of the other character are cardboard cutouts. :/
As if going to Renn faire wasn't already enough, I called into one of the Tahoe Basin's local radio stations at an opportune moment and won TWO tickets for free. So I might go 2 days in a row if I can't find someone to go with. Here I come, Valhalla.
Later, Peace out.

Thought I'd see what all the fuss is about. If I like it, I'll buy the rest. (looking forward to the film, the trailer is great)
Following on from A Short History of Nearly Everything, this book talks about the ordinary things in our houses and how they came to be. Really looking forward to reading it.
