Figured I would go ahead and show off my current collection. I plan on doing an Indy poster at some point this summer as well. Enjoy! (sorry the lighting in this room is terrible):

I got the Monkey Island poster from somewhere else (I guess I'm different because I love having all of the logos and "green/maroon surround" from the box )

Further down the wall, Full Throttle on the right, with my Empire poster from when I was a kid, and a promo for the greatest band ever Type O Negative (RIP Peter Steele)

Lastly my signed Tales artwork (thanks Steve!)
And thank you as well Laserschwert!

Still have to find a place to hang it...

Posters above all look great
Very interesting Empire poster there too! Never seen that one before Looks rare?
Cool stuff, Laserschwert! Sure nice of 'em!
p.s. Sonic rocks, could he be some rebellious distant nephew of Max?

Hey thanks! Yea the Empire one I've only seen once (from the store I bought it from, hah). I found the actual artwork online. The artist's name on the bottom is Boris, and was done in 1980.

@Laserschwert:
Thank you SO much for your work on these posters.
I loved Zak McKracken as a kid and when I saw that you created a high resolution version, I just had to get a canvas print of it.
I wanted to show you it on my wall:
I ordered it with http://canvasondemand.com
It measures 30 inches by 40 inches.
It is AMAZING quality. To give you an idea of the quality and size, here I am holding up a standard sized CD to it:
Once again, thank you very very much for your hard work in creating these.
Let me know if there is a PayPal address I can send a donation to you. Also, I have a few other old classic games (not from Lucas Arts) that I'd love to get some high quality versions of. I'd be willing to pay you for your time if that's something you would be interested in
Thanks again

That canvas looks really great, canvas is unfortunately just too expensive for me, especially in that size!

That is amazing quality indeed. Well worth the money it costs! Thanks for sharing it.
BTW just got an idea: Why won't we open a Framed Posters gallery thread to show the world our printings? That way we could leave this one exclusively for additions & questions only; more organized I believe.

Or The Chaos Engine. A faithful remake (if only in tone and execution) would be supreme on XBLA.

I second the idea of a separate thread for us to show off our walls. It would make it less cluttered and easier to find things throughout this thread, such as the user submitted posters. Maybe we could even move the user submitted posters to the front page as well?
On another note, does anyone know the name of the font that is used on the Dig cover where it says "A deep space adventure bla bla bla..."? I used to have it years ago, and now I can't find it.
EDIT: now that I think about it, as for the separate thread, all someone would have to do is start their own thread and put it on here. Maybe Laserschwert could put a link to it on the first post as well?

The right one is from the Marx Brothers, nothing Lucasartsy though.

It's not possible to have it at better quality, other than getting a scan from the original sold on eBay.

Dead links
Hey - was browsing for Monkey Island nostalgia and stumbled upon this diamond in the rough - gotta say that some of the work that's been done here is unbelievable. The down side is I may spend a small fortune getting some of this stuff printed out and framed, but it's clearly going to be worth it! Laserschwert and anyone/everyone else involved, you're all legends
I did notice a couple of Full Throttle posters by spiralout which seem to be dead links now (post quoted below). I don't suppose anyone managed to grab a copy of them before they went down? I'd thoroughly appreciate a copy of them!
Keep up the good work

Nice work! The no logo one doesn't seem to exist on any of those servers, though.

Oops, sorry. It was the logo version that isn't available on the servers. Thanks for the alternate links, though. But are the originals in JPG?

Thank you so much, Virtureal!
I can hardly wait to see what else arrives on this thread in the coming months/years. Think I'm definitely going to have to get one or two of the Monkey Island posters printed up on canvas once I find some frames awesome enough to house them Looks like all eyes will be on eBay for a while

D'oh! I thought it should be canvas to go in a frame for some reason, my bad. You've probably just saved me a small fortune - where do your talents end? What kind of printing should I get if I was to stick it in a frame like this (but appropriately sized):

Weeell, it's not like you can't frame canvas prints... hell, Steve's original is painted on canvas (I guess) and is framed... oil paintings from hundreds of years of art are hanging in museums... framed...
By the way, I think it depends on the frame, what kind of painting you can put into them... and I don't know heck about frames (so this is probably an indication about where my talents end )

If it looks good in a frame, it looks good in a frame. If it does not, it doesn't.
And that's where my knowledge of frames ends

From a Mojo trip to LEC in 2001:

Might be an easy one for someone to posterise, if desired. I've no idea if this was a promotional poster or what, maybe Jake will remember.

I was going through my (very) old laptop's hard drive and I found this high-res Grim Fandango image from a few years back and uploaded it to google.
GrimFandangoNoText
I didn't make it but I can't for the life of me remember where I got it. It's a bit fuzzy but I guess it would make do for posters until Laserschwert can make an awesome version.
FramedGFBWPoster
Though that poster has the text on it so I might root around and see if I can find that version.

Well, the properties say it was last modified in 2008, so not from this thread. It wouldn't surprise me if it was some other corner of mixnmojo.
