Single Core?

I'm looking to purchase TFU: USE but I'm worried a single core may not be supported (the requirements never mention it.) So has anybody here played TFU with a single core and got acceptable game peformance?

Based on the system requirements posted here, a dual core is indeed necessary, I do not think a single core could handle the game.

CPU Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4 GHz or AMD Athlon X2 5200+

I'd save your money.
