I'd like to see a story of Order 66 with Delta Squad
Meaby even a Story where they decline Order 66 (dont even know if its possible for them)
An idea of mine was (a little bit funny but i like it :P) :
LA wants to continue Lightsaber storys ?
Let us hunt some Jedi or even Sith as Delta Squad !
there would be Lightsabers but not in our hands^^
As a second Idea: id like to see the story of Yoda escaping to his planet where Luke founds him and Delta Squad brings him there :P
Yeah i know my ideas are a bit "strange" but i rly wish there would be an RC2

Awesome ideas, but ... if delta squad becomes a jedi hunter, it`s clearly that you are playing imperial commando , but on the other hand, why not :
1 st, hunt for siths and eventually make a diffrence in the war / hunt ... not exactly , i mean there aren`t much sith left, but you get the point, help the jedi and stuff.... /
2nd, the squad to split, maybe the three of them go each on their own, or, scorch goes to save Sev, and Boss along with Fixer join the Empire, then it`s like a 2 man army, let`s say Scorch discovers Sev somewhere, critically injured and spends years of helping, the communication fails, they do not hear the order and with time they become more and more independent, finally Sev`s a`right and they decide to find their former comrads from Delta, along the way the join the Rebellion and in the end there`s a conflict which LA can do whatever it decides , like... fighting between them, reuniting, or they can become rogue all-hostiles, it`s a pretty interesting soil for ideas, i mean RC is a gold mine ffs, how can they STILL not see it !? Or perhaps, they both unite with Joda as the guy said and declare war on the empire, just to be able to find former 38 and 40 ... Gold , pure gold....

Hi, Im new to the forums, mostly driven to the new reinstalling of RC after a while.
I think that your story line is one of the best iv seen in a while, however, i think that this idea would have to have a game inbetween RC and your version, it just seems like too big of a jump from the middle of the clone wars to order 66
i have read alot of these posts and obviously they sould make a rc2 and yes there are so many possible ways to pick the story up were it left off but enless LA has seen this thread and are working on it in secret trying to not let anything leak which btw would be totaly awsome, its likely its not going to happen but there is a possablity after they have realsed fu2 they might consider making rc2 and if no one understood what i just said i wouldnt blame you
Realistically, RC2 isn't going to happen; not to burst your guys bubbles. The game came out 5 years ago, and since then there's been absolutely NOTHING about an upcoming RC2.

I know there was a total conversion mod for RepCom, but I haven't heard anything about an official game. I've been hoping for a sequel ever since I first played RepCom.
I also know that LA isn't telling us anything about Sev, in case they DO make a #2. You'd think they'd realize how badly people want this game and make it :L
yea, but a glimer of hope: half life and half life 2 had a SEVEN year gap.....just sayong

If they do make another one, I think it'd be cool if it featured another squad. Then again, we're all wanting answers about Sev :P
Yeh it would be prety kool if you could play as omega squad and if they id make a second RC then its a possibility that sev could come back cuz they never found a body
I agree that they should feature Omega Squad. It would introduce us to some different characters and if they do it right, we could even see how Omega interacts with Delta, since Delta are almost completely loyal to the republic/empire while Omega are the rogue contingent. I would also like to see the Omega's personalities in a game form, they were so much like the Deltas, while quite different in other ways. Heck, they could even throw in some of the expanded characters, like the Nulls.
-Also, I'm currently reading Karen's newest book so I don't know what happens to Sev yet.-
Yeah Karen Traviss said something like 'it's not her character' and LucasArts 'want to keep it open for oppurtunity'. But anyone who mods has a little bit of freedom to decide his fate. Unofficialy.

i need closure on Sev. there has to be an ending to it, whether he managed to kill his way off of Kashyyyk, or was overwhelmed and fell. It is definately worth another game to explore, or at least am Imperial Commando 2 book.

Was browsing for info in RC2, if it was ever going to come out. Stumbled across this thread, and felt a few things need to be mentioned.

There are many possiilities, and going from what I know about the events beyond the game (I'll get to that in a minute), it would be a perfect prologue.

The time difference doesn't really matter. Obsidian had once said that they were done with Elder Scrolls after 4: Oblivion, but they are projecting to release 5:Skyrim this year. (after many years.)

I can provide closure, to an extent, but wil say this first: The background events of the game are detailed in the SW:Order 66 book (I believe is what it was called.) It goes mosly about stuff not related to events within the mission, but the outside world.

After the squad is called back, they go along with that order. They regret their inability to retrn to find Sev, and go bakc to their home ship. They later abandon (from what I remember) the Grand Army of the Republic with one of their trainers from Kamino (Mandalorian) and go into hiding from the Republic/Empire. No word is left to indicate Sev's survival, or lack thereof.
i've read Order 66, and it doesn't go as indepth to Sev's dissappearance as i would like, it only says that Walon Vau went to Kashyyyk to find sev, but didn't find anything. I want a proof of life, or a proof of death. I want someone to find Sev's helmet in a bazaar in tattooine, or Sev to become the new Mandalore or something like that, i'll settle for something as dumb as amnesia

umm, i never played any of the KOTOR games, some people would probably be really pissed about that, but i am just not that much of a PC guy, so you'll have to forgive me if i reply to that one with "i don't get it"
I even read the half-finished feeling Imperial Commando: 501st book. It was good, but it didn't go far enough into Delta. Darman and Niner's stories are still very important to the whole Republic Commando world, but Delta was where i started with the video game, i didn't get into the books until about 2 years ago.
Kind of an after thought, but i bought Republic Commando when i bought my original Xbox, and then sold the whole package after i got my 360. Finding Republic Commando again is actually hard to do. I searched 2 1/2 provinces to find a copy, and nothing, eBay is a hell of a thing, and there is a bunch of used copies for like $20, but someone managed to have a still wrapped copy of Republic Commando for the Xbox, and was selling it for like $100. Not going to roll out a hundy for something sealed, when i am just going to open it as soon as i get it. The moral of the story, is that i am a moron, and should not have sold it. You never know when you will have a nostalgia attack.
