LEGO - Pirates of the Caribbean
So, this got announced a little over a week ago. I didn't see a thread for it, so I thought I'd make one.
Announcement
Personally, I'm excited for it--well, maybe not for the fourth movie part, since I somehow doubt the fourth movie will even be worth seeing, but the rest of it will probably be good. It helps that I've been wanting LEGO games for two more franchises; Pirates of the Caribbean and Lord of the Rings.
So, what are y'all's thoughts?
Chapter 12 of A Soul Adrift is out.
Short stories:
T'katlu: On the planet Felucia, a young apprentice of the Dark Side thinks back to the beginning of her training as she lies in wait for her prey...
All the Time: After four years in the Unknown Regions, the Exile returns to the known galaxy to visit an old enemy.
Broken: A master of the Dark Side finds himself about to lose the one thing he cares about--and he will do anything to stop her from endangering herself.

Well, if you ask me, combining a popular franchise with LEGO is always a good idea, and this is no exception.

Bleh. I usually don't have the utmost fun with Lego games and the PotC franchise was never good to begin with. Right now, I have more game I'm anticipating and I doubt I'd ever follow this one closely even if I didn't.
Inspiration
.Bioshock inspiration.

I could take it or leave it, I will most likely leave it, unless I trip over a pile of them on sale for a dollar.

Amen. I couldn't sit through any of the movies. When it comes to film, there's good stupid and bad stupid. PoTC was definitely the latter.

I love POTC and the LEGO games so this probably the LEGO game I have been waiting for, well besides Harry Potter.

It won't I tried to fight it and fell victim to it, now I can't get enough of the LEGO games. LEGO Toy Story is supposedly coming.

I honestly can't understand why anyone who isn't a small child (or someone who has small children) would want to play these LEGO games.
PotC hasn't been good since the first film, and the LEGO games have never been good.

Don't get me wrong. I was one of the biggest LEGO fans when I was younger...I just don't like the fact that every single LEGO game is almost EXACTLY the same with just some other brand on it. I love Toy Story as well...but I don't know...some things just don't need to be put in LEGO video games. I'm glad the toys are still doing well, but they don't need to keep going with all these video games.
