It's a purely symbolic victory. Now people can't point out Osama as a guy who ****ed the US and got away with it.
In real terms, little will change, save perhaps a few reprisals. Though since most of those would have been done anyway, perhaps just later, even that's not a huge change.
As I said in the Ahto thread, there are more dangerous people out there, and it's time to give them the same treatment.
