KoTOR 1 not working Windows 7 64bit Nvidia

Hello! Long time lurker, first time poster here. I'm having trouble running the game on my new computer, I've tried all fixes, I've tried changing resolution and running as administrator and in compability mode but it still won't start.
I'm not playing the steam version.

I open the shortcut on the desktop and select Game and the Ebon Hawk pops up but after a few seconds it disappears and nothing happens

OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTS 450
Processor: AMD FX(tm)-4100 Quad-Core Processor (4 CPUs), ~3.6GHz
Memory: 4096MB RAM
DirectX-version: DirectX 11

Any help would be appeciated

Have you try using the suggestions from the first two posts in this thread?

I'll try to reinstall using admin priviliges.

Edit - I got it working, turns out I just had to change NoCD crack.
