Datacron Run Open to all LF Members on The Harbinger
Got a request to do a datacron run for The Walking Carpets, after being contacted by a few non-TWC on The Harbinger, figured we may as well open this up to all Lucas Forums Members and since the TWC are in a alliance with Casual Alliance it makes sense to me invite any of them too. If you have any friends, they are invited too.
I was thinking we would do this in phases, my question to you are you interested?
What day of the week would work best for you?
What time would work best for you?
Would you want to do this in one day or break it up to a three or 4 days?
Which phase(s) are you interested in?
Phase I – Tython (1-10), Ord Mantell (1-10), Coruscant (10-16), Taris (16-20) and Nar Shaddaa (20-24)
Phase 2 –Tatooine (24 -28) Alderaan (28-32), Balmorra (32-36), Quesh (36-37) and Hoth (37-41)
Phase 3 – Belsavis (41-44), Voss (44-47), Corellia (47-50) and Illum (50)
Phase 4 – Republic Fleet (must be level 50 for this one) We would also need at least 6 people for it, but I would not want to do it without more than that.
My preference is the weekend. Beyond that I don't care, I'm willing to go anytime.

How can there exist non-TWC/IMB folks from LFN on The Harbinger? You should all unite under the same glourious banner

I can't make people do anything, anymore than I can make you move your toons to The Harbinger...

Mim, I'm certainly up for a run for datacrons. Would be fun to do another guild activity again. (Loved the boss-killing event!) Have to get myself invited back to the guild first, but beyond that I'm up for a weekend as I could stay up late my time to match an early evening time in the USA. (Provided I have enough coffee available.)
I have to say though that I will miss not having Lynk with us at the event. I understand his reasons for not transferring, but I've sort of come to think of him as LF's TOR vanguard superhero--and it makes me feel a bit sad that he won't be there this time.
Veni, Vidi, Velcro. (I came, I saw, I stuck around)

miss him too, but I look at it as Lynk quit on us, we did not quit on him....
While I am trying to understand and most likely would have felt similar if Bremiaha had to have a name change. Unlike Lynk, I am not known by that name outside of the game, but in the moments I was transferring her without knowing if the name was available or not, I realized just how attached to that name I had become. 50 levels solo with a healer would make anyone somewhat attached to a name.
Still the game must go on.... As to the time, we can pretty much set whatever hours we need... I have no problems even doing the phases more than once since I can bring a alt. May even kill a world boss or two as we hunt for datacrons if everyone is game.

Well, I love this game so far and wish I could play it more often that I do. But you're right, the game goes on. So, I suppose I should answer all the questions you posed, eh?
Day of the week: Friday night, Saturday, or Sunday would work best for me (although if I knew ahead of time, I could possibly join you all for this on a weekday)
Time: I'm in the UK, so there's not going to be a convenient time for me. 7pm PST is like 3am for me, but I'm good with that if I can plan ahead for it.
One day v Multi days: I'm more up for a multi-day challenge and to get the world bosses if they are available when we are there.
Phases: Interested in all of them. I need all the extra stat points I can get! I just have to wait a bit for some of the Phase 3's and the Phase 4 one, as I'm only level 42.
Veni, Vidi, Velcro. (I came, I saw, I stuck around)

Yeah, spreading it over a few days might be better, people can jump in for a smaller amount of time instead of having a marathon on our hands. We all know how quick minutes can turn into hours.
Weekends are best for me, Europe here so it'll be an awkward time, but I can adjust. I've got a lot of free time on my hands for the coming weeks. And I'd like to do all phases, haven't really invested time in finding datacrons with Nural.

Okay let us try to do the first run at a time that is decent for both sides of the pound.
1:00 PM Central Time, 11:00 am Server Time (West Coast). If I figured that right, it should be 8:00 PM for Mitiades.
Most likely can do this without voice, but if everyone wants voice, do you want to just use skype or use vent? If it is just us three, then my vote is just type it or use skype, but I'm fine with vent and can check with Mav or CA about using their channel.
I say we do phase one, the first two planets will be really fast, so we could most likely knock out Phase 1 plus Tatooine, but nothing is set in stone and we can quit at anytime or keep going as long as possible.

Either voice chat program is fine for me. Have to say that I've never really had an opportunity to use Ventrillo, so it would be fun to try.
The time is ok for me, too, but I can go later if need be. Saturday or Sunday will work equally well.
Suppose I'll should check to see what datacrons I already have, too, as I've got the two toons and some of them I've gotten with one, but not the other. (For some reason, my trooper jumps better than my smuggler. :S)
And is anyone else coming with us?

I hope so, but who knows. I also invited people from CA and their guilds. I have no doubt the time is not good for them. I kind of figure phase 1 will be for us casual players, I'm betting most everyone has them all except for that one on Taris, but we will see. I didn't expect half the people that showed up for the world boss run to show up either.

I like this idea, mim. I'm on vacation for the next two weeks so I won't be around, but I would be totally up for something like this after I get back...

Anytime Prime, this isn't something that takes a lot of people or coronations. Other that the level 50 +10 datacron on the fleet , the most you need to get any datacron is two people (as far as I know). So I am willing to do this as many times as needed for the guild. I think it would be more fun with a larger group, but I am willing to go with anyone anytime I am on and not in an ops (however with the way 2 of the last 3 ops have gone I may even be willing to go then).
Couple of things….I am not the best pipe jumper and there is a reason why Lynk has called me wrong way Brem in game. So everyone has been warned

Yay! I feel so much better now knowing that I'm not the only one who gets lost and can't jump. But, when we get frustrated we can always go and kill a boss or two, right?

Haha, I suddenly remember that datacron we hunted on Taris where you fell between two platforms a couple of times until I managed to get myself in the same situation.

If you are healer spec, I want to try to kill the Taris one with Leyn'a if you don't mind. Want to try it solo, but not yet. Need gear!

Ok, so just confirming that we're on for the Datacron run (and Taris boss killing) this Saturday, 11am server time. Right?
*runs off to find a list of datacrons to see what ones my toons need*

Ok, it's confirmed. My jumping skills suck. On the upside though, I did manage to get quite a few datacrons that I didn't have before, even the two-man one on Taris which I miraculously managed to get on the very first attempt! Of course, that was only thanks to Miltiades who told me when not to jump. Thanks, Milt!
And thanks to Mimartin who gave brilliant directions and didn't get us lost. Cheers!
I'm up for doing it again!

Promise next time I will have my list printed on me. It would have been so much easier and faster had I brought the list I made last week from the office to the house.
We got up to Taris... We even took the time to kill the Taris WB for the fun of it. Next time we will do it pantless because it was too easy fully geared.
I went through the ones up to Coruscant twice...Got the ones up to Mar'ina's level. I just don't understand. I got the two hardest on Coruscant on the first try with Mar'ina. I guess a Jedi has more jumping ability than my smuggler. Of course jumping off the ledge in the Works after retrieving the datacron almost cost Mar'ina...she survived with 1% health.
Willing to do this anytime, don't have to wait a month. Just let me know when you two or anyone else is up for it. I plan on going ahead and getting organized and getting them all for Brem, so hopefully I will have a better idea where the all are next time.
Will not be able to do it this weekend, as much as I love TOR it does not surpass a weekend (July 7th and 8th) in Austin, Texas.
