Issues playing KOTOR on VMware

I'm having issues playing KOTOR on Windows XP on VMware Fusion. The main problem is this: the textures aren't being mapped correctly.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this problem?

If you want specifics, just ask.

I am far from an expert on this subject, but I do know that virtual machines have traditionally been unable to run programs that require 3D graphics.

Update - the running of KOTOR on VMware is no longer an issue - now, there is a new problem. I will be creating a new thread for it.
