Xarwarrs textures gloss effect? Please help.

Hey guys, just modded and started playing kotor 2 for the first time. I am using Xarwarrs re-textures and they look great but lack that natural kotor "gloss" effect. They are flat and do not reflect the sun or lighting. Is this something I can change in a 2da somewhere? Any insight would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

Edit: Or maybe a way to set the floor tiles to shine with/in photoshop? Or is it perhaps done in the files that direct the texture overrides to the texture files (.txi files)? Derp, sorry I know nothing about modding this game, heh.
