With Disney buying Star Wars It doesn't surprise me that this would happen, what does surprise me is the timing. I thought it would have ended/been cancelled a lot sooner because of the buyout.

It's a successful series, there was no reason to cancel it. However, I still keep my guess that it will end on the 6th season. They had it in mind for quite some time.
